Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a senior Network Engineer Cloud SME to guide modernization, migration, and sustainment of critical DoD IT environments.

You will serve as the enterprise technical authority, shaping cloud, network, and security strategy and working across DoD domains. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, drive architecture across Azure, AWS, OCI, and GCP, and ensure compliance with DISA/DoD standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 10+ years of related experience in IT disciplines.
• Active Secret clearance with current Tier 5/SSBI.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III certification (e.g., CASP+ CE, CISSP, CCNP Security, GCED, GCIH, CISA).
• Experience with Azure, AWS, OCI, GCP and DoD cloud frameworks (SCCA, VDMS, VDSS).

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority for complex, multi-platform environments.
• Lead enterprise cloud/network/security strategy and executive-level project teams.
• Provide engineering guidance and executive-level recommendations.
• Develop engineering diagrams, network maps, configurations, and sustainment documentation.
• Communicate highly complex technical concepts clearly to executives.
