Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a SME Anti-Tamper Engineer to support the DoD Anti-Tamper Executive Agent Field Program Office at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. You will apply security engineering processes to weapon systems and assess circuitry for anti-tamper vulnerabilities.

Requires active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility, a Master’s in Engineering and 20+ years’ DoD-related experience, and SAP/SCI experience within the last 5 years. Travel up to 10% CONUS is required.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI/SAP and current background check within 5 years.
• Master’s Degree in an Engineering discipline with 20+ years of relevant DoD/government experience.
• Minimum 3 years of SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD systems security engineering process and anti-tamper methods to weapon systems and capabilities.
• Assess integrated circuitry, processors, and memory for reverse engineering risk.
• Provide engineering support for acquisitions including RFP development and technical oversight.
• Review contractor proposals for design feasibility and system compatibility.
• Assess whether acquired capabilities meet design requirements and specs.
• Collaborate with DoD labs and industry on vulnerabilities and lab exploitation capabilities.
• Identify technologies to protect CPI in program protection efforts.
• Work with DoD Anti-Tamper Evaluation Teams to understand designs and identify vulnerabilities.
• Assist improvements to anti-tamper/exploitation design, development, manufacturing, training, and sustainment.
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in system, subsystem, and component testing.
• Conduct performance, supportability, scheduling, and risk assessments and trade studies.
• Create and maintain security classification guides for the DoD AT community.
