Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior SME Anti-Tamper Engineer to support DoD programs in a security-focused environment.

You will apply security engineering processes, assess circuitry for tamper risks, and oversee technology acquisitions including RFP development and technical oversight. The role requires TS/SCI with SAP access, a 20+ year engineering background, and SAP/SCI experience within the last five years.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI and access to SAP; background investigation current within 5 years or under Continuous Vetting.
• Master's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 20 years relevant DoD experience.
• Minimum 3 years of SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).
• DoD Anti-Tamper and program protection planning knowledge is desired.
• Familiar with electrical and electronic circuits and IEEE standards; experience with lab environments and reverse engineering considerations.

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD systems security engineering process, weapon system protection planning, and anti-tamper methods for new and existing weapons systems.
• Assess integrated circuitry and determine reverse engineering methodologies for electronic systems.
• Provide engineering support for technology acquisitions including RFP development and technical oversight.
• Review and analyze contractor proposals for design feasibility and system compatibility.
• Collaborate with Service labs and industry partners to assess vulnerabilities and lab exploitation capabilities.
• Identify technologies to protect CPI in program protection efforts.
• Work with DoD Anti-Tamper Evaluation Teams to understand current designs and identify vulnerabilities.
• Assist efforts to improve anti-tamper/anti-exploitation design, development, and sustainment.
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in testing at system, subsystem, and component levels.
• Conduct performance, supportability, schedule, and risk assessments and scheduling trade-off studies.
• Create, staff, publish, and maintain security classification guides for the DoD AT community.
