Job summary

Applied Research Solutions is seeking an experienced Acquisition Program Manager to support DoD programs, including requirements development, schedule management, risk assessment, and stakeholder coordination for the Legacy Tanker program at Tinker AFB.

Candidates must be a US citizen, possess TS/SCI clearance, and have 12+ years in program management (5+ in DoD) or 15+ with BA/BS, plus strong DoD regulatory knowledge and experience with MS Project.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• TS/SCI clearance required.
• 12+ years of program management experience, including 5+ years in DoD (or 15+ years with BA/BS).
• Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and regulations.
• Experience with program scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Ability to analyze and communicate complex program information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD acquisition processes and analytical methods to improve acquisition effectiveness and compliance.
• Develop and draft acquisition documentation including requirements, plans, and strategies.
• Support key acquisition events including System Requirements Reviews, Design Reviews, and Configuration Audits.
• Establish and maintain program databases and develop/analyze key program metrics.
• Develop and integrate risk management plans and strategies.
• Track technical metrics and report program status to leadership.
• Perform analyses to support program strategy decisions and courses of action.
• Coordinate and participate in integrated program reviews and conferences.
• Track appropriation and allocation of funds to ensure efficient execution.
• Develop, analyze, report, and maintain program schedules and metrics.
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to evaluate program health.
