Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Acquisition Management and Contracting Professional to provide senior technical leadership across acquisition capabilities. You will plan, execute, and oversee programs, advise executives, and lead a support team in fast-paced environments.

Active Secret clearance or higher and US citizenship are required; extensive DoD/DoW experience and leadership in major weapon systems programs are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Secret Clearance required.
• US citizenship required.
• Master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of related acquisition/program management experience with ten (10) years in a leadership position.
• Extensive knowledge of DoD/DoW program management and contracting policies and procedures.
• Extensive experience with Defense Acquisition management processes and DoD 5000 directives and FAR/DFARS.
• Ability to lead projects end-to-end, including cost, schedule, and performance.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; lead a collaborative team.
• Contribution to business development and proposal crafting.
• Travel up to 10–25% based on customer and program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Acquisition Management and Contracting analysis and transformation projects.
• Lead analysis of Acquisition Management and Contracting efforts.
• Lead preparation of final products and facilitate meetings/workshops.
• Support cost, schedule, and performance management activities.
• Manage customer relationships throughout project execution.
• Provide leadership and SME to acquisition initiatives.
• Input for strategic planning, policy development, and performance standards.
• Assist with contract execution, reviews, and contractor performance assessments.
• Identify and capture Acquisition Management opportunities during proposals.
• Oversee project execution.
