Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking an experienced Acquisition Specialist Level 3 to support USSF acquisition efforts, including market research, strategy development, and proposal evaluations.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, 10+ years of DoD acquisition experience, and strong knowledge of DoD processes. Responsibilities span the full acquisition lifecycle in a mission-focused DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• 10+ years of relevant DoD experience supporting contracts, subcontracts, acquisition, or procurement activities.
• Demonstrated experience supporting the full acquisition lifecycle, including planning, solicitation development, evaluations, source selection, contract award, and post-award activities.
• Strong knowledge of Air Force and Space Force acquisition processes, policies, and practices.
• Working knowledge of risk management and the PPBE process.
• Experience supporting product development, science and technology programs, or similar DoD environments.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. Space Force organizational structure, mission objectives, and stakeholder priorities.
• Experience communicating and coordinating with senior and executive-level DoD stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support complex DoD, USAF, and USSF acquisition activities across the lifecycle.
• Develop and support acquisition strategies, market research, evaluation criteria, and source selection activities.
• Integrate cost, schedule, and performance requirements to support program objectives and decisions.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program and acquisition risks.
• Support PPBE activities and acquisition planning.
• Provide acquisition expertise to product development and S&T programs.
• Collaborate with program teams and government stakeholders to meet objectives.
