Galapagos Federal Systems LLC seeks a Contract Specialist L3 to join a mission-driven team. The role supports the Government Contracting Officer across planning, execution, and administration of DoD acquisitions, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and related policies.

The ideal candidate brings extensive DoD contracting experience, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to work 100% on-site in a federal environment. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance required.
• 15+ years of DoD experience with hands-on contracting.
• Experience providing cradle-to-grave acquisition and contracting support.
• Experience preparing pre-award and post-award documentation.
• Experience conducting cost and price analyses for DoD.
• Experience developing acquisition/negotiation strategies and contract-type guidance.
• In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS and regulatory compliance.

Aufgaben

• Provide cradle-to-grave contracting support for acquisitions.
• Conduct market research and support acquisition strategies.
• Prepare and coordinate pre-award and post-award documentation.
• Review proposals for completeness and compliance.
• Perform cost/price analysis and supporting evaluations.
• Assist in developing negotiation objectives and positions.
• Support contract administration and audit-ready contract files.
• Monitor contractor performance for compliance and delivery.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure contracting activities comply with FAR/DFARS and policies.
