Job summary

Bowman and Brooke LLP, a national product liability boutique, seeks a Docketing Manager to oversee docketing across offices, ensuring deadlines and filings are accurate and communicated to attorneys and staff.

The role requires strong California court rules knowledge, and expertise with CompuLaw Vision and Milana. Bachelor’s degree and 7–10 years of docketing experience, with supervisory experience, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate or equivalent legal education preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressively responsible docketing experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or legal services organization.
• Experience supervising docketing personnel and providing training in a distributed or multi-office environment.
• Hands‑on expertise with CompuLaw Vision and/or Milana docketing software; system configuration and rule sets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily docketing operations across all active matters in a multi-office setup.
• Administer CompuLaw Vision and/or Milana docketing platforms as primary system administrator.
• Calculate and verify litigation deadlines per federal, state, and local rules.
• Directly supervise two docketing specialists.
• Develop and enforce quality control procedures; monitor rule updates and training.
