Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a DMPK leader to design and oversee preclinical pharmacokinetics and metabolism strategies across multiple indications. You will manage internal and CRO resources, ensure regulatory-aligned IND-enabling packages, and provide PK/PD insights to cross-functional teams in the Madison area.

The role requires a PhD with 3+ years of industry experience, deep DMPK expertise, and experience with LC-MS/MS/HRMS.

Qualifications

• PhD required with at least 3 years in industry.
• Deep DMPK expertise; nucleotide/oligonucleotide metabolism knowledge preferred.
• Hands-on ADME, PK studies, DDI evaluations; data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement in vitro and in vivo DMPK strategies to support preclinical development.
• Oversee DMPK activities including CROs to ensure timely data delivery.
• Design, supervise, and execute preclinical PK studies and NCA; interpret data and report findings.
