Job summary

General Proximity seeks a DMPK expert to lead drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics across the small molecule portfolio. You will design and interpret ADME studies, perform PK/PD modeling, and guide cross-functional teams from lead optimization through IND.

A hands-on scientist, you will translate DMPK data into actionable program decisions. You will collaborate with medicinal chemistry, biology, pharmacology, and toxicology to shape regulatory readiness and translational strategies, leveraging

Qualifications

• PhD in pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical sciences, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in DMPK within drug discovery/development.
• Hands-on ADME and in vivo PK experience with translational insights.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and interpret in vitro ADME studies (metabolic stability, CYP inhibition/induction, protein binding, permeability, solubility).
• Perform IVIVC analyses to inform candidate selection.
• Interpret PK data to guide medicinal chemistry decisions.
• Oversee CROs for outsourced ADME studies and ensure data quality.
