Job summary

Flagship Pioneering is seeking a Sr. Principal Scientist/Director to lead DMPK and bioanalytical strategy across nonclinical and clinical programs. You will be a hands-on scientific leader, guiding PK study design, biomarker strategies, and translational efforts.

You will design and develop bioanalytical methods, supervise CROs, and contribute to IND filings while collaborating with the Research Leadership Team in a fast-paced clinical-stage biotechnology setting.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in pharmacokinetics, pharmacology, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, or related field.
• 8+ years of industry experience in DMPK, bioanalytical sciences, or closely related function.
• Experience with diverse bioanalytical methods and their validation in nonclinical and clinical contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead DMPK and bioanalytical strategy across nonclinical and clinical programs, including PK readouts.
• Design, execute, and oversee PK/PK-PD studies of delivery technologies and biomarkers.
• Manage CROs and external labs; ensure GLP/GCP-compliant work where required.
• Interpret and present data to leadership and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to IND filings and briefing documents; support agency interactions.
