Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer to lead DLP and CASB engineering, operation, and tuning within our SOC. You will implement secure configurations, manage policies, and coordinate with GRC, IT, and business units to meet regulatory requirements. Travel is required regionally as projects span North America.

The role demands 6–8 years in information security, hands-on DLP/CASB experience, scripting skills, and strong communication. A CCSP or CSA CCSK certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Cybersecurity, CS, or IT or equivalent work experience.
• 6-8 years of technical work experience in Information Security.
• 3-5 years of direct Cybersecurity Operations experience.
• Hands-on experience administering and engineering DLP and CASB solutions.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, BASH, etc.).
• Experience with Enterprise Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) and IoT hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and optimize DLP and CASB configurations, policies, alerts, and integrations.
• Manage access controls, policies, and rules for security appliances and cloud services.
• Triage, investigate, and resolve DLP/CASB alerts with Incident Response and Legal teams.
• Develop incident reports, data-risk ratings, and compliance scorecards.
• Document change management, runbooks, and security control configurations.
