Job summary

Atlas Roofing Corporation, a leading manufacturer of roofing and related products, seeks a Divisional Plant Engineer for its Meridian, Mississippi facility. You will supervise external contractors during capital projects, work with maintenance teams, and optimize processes with new technologies, with travel expected at least 50%.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years hands-on work experience in a manufacturing environment with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership to multiple plant locations driving improvements in reliability, process control, and KPI improvements.
• Create CAD drawings for equipment layout, process control, fabrication and assembly.
• Oversee capital projects from planning to completion within budget and schedule.
• Develop project scopes, budgets and timelines and prepare justifications for capital projects generally over $100,000.
