Job summary

Janney is seeking a Senior Operations Supervisor – Dividends in Philadelphia. This role leads the dividends team, ensuring accurate corporate actions processing, timely notifications, and daily reconciliations. You will train staff, supervise workflow, and partner with management on strategic goals.

Three days a week in the Philadelphia office are required. The candidate should have 5–7 years in the industry, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and Series 7/99 to be obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years’ related industry experience.
• Series 7 or Series 99 required within 90 days of start date.
• Strong project management skills evidenced by successful implementations.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities; able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Review accurate and timely processing of all Corporate Actions cash and stock proceeds on payable date.
• Oversee timely notification of upcoming Voluntary Corporate Actions.
• Oversee department daily reconciliations of accounts.
• Organize Operations Associates to achieve service goals; provide work direction and coordinate workflow.
• Train new associates on policies and procedures; facilitate open dialogue.
• Assist in hiring, staffing, promotions, and other job-status decisions.
