Job summary

The J.Jill Group is seeking an experienced District Manager to lead a large multi-store district in the Houston area, driving sales, profitability and customer experience. You will hire, coach and develop store leaders, ensure top-notch visual merchandising, and implement company programs across stores.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in women’s specialty retail management, HR/associate relations experience, and a track record of building strong leadership teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of women’s specialty retail management experience.
• 5+ years in a district manager/multi-store position preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in Human Resources and Associate Relations.
• Established history in recruiting and retaining a talented management and sales team.
• Point of Sale and office software technical experience (Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word).

Responsibilities

• Drives sales performance across multiple stores within the district.
• Coaches and develops area and store management talent.
• Ensures stores meet visual merchandising and operational standards.
• Partners with corporate and regional teams to implement programs.
• Manages staffing, scheduling and payroll in line with company goals.
• Develops leadership bench strength to fill roles promptly.
• Drives customer loyalty and local outreach programs.
• Oversees loss prevention and asset protection initiatives.
