Chartwells K-12 is hiring a Resident District Manager to lead foodservice operations for a large Stamford, CT district. This senior role serves as the client contact and directs the account team to meet financial and operational goals in a dynamic environment.

You will maintain client relationships, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure compliance with USDA guidelines while delivering high-quality dining experiences for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Educational minimum and work experience per USDA Professional Standards for the account(s).
• Bachelor's degree and minimum of ten years of management experience in K12 foodservice.
• Proven track record of leading a business and a team; strong customer service and financial acumen.
• Excellent initiative, critical thinking, communications, multitasking, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and inspire a large account team to deliver top-tier service to the client, students, and community.
• Drive relationships with the client and achieve KPIs (profitability, safety, employee engagement).
• May participate on district leadership teams and share best practices with peers.
• Oversee risk/reward and strategic implications with team input.
• Represent the Chartwells brand within the district and community at events.
• Ensure client needs are met, retain the account, and assist in rebid processes.
