Job summary

TRC, Member of WSP, seeks a Distribution Technician III in Michigan to direct and train field staff, and to perform data collection on overhead and underground electrical facilities.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 5 years of distribution experience, with duties including design sketches, cost estimates, load studies, easement coordination, and reporting. TRC offers a competitive benefits package and comprehensive compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Five (5) years of progressive development as a Distribution Technician or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare construction orders for overhead/underground facilities.
• Prepare layouts of distribution facilities following client/industry standards.
• Create design sketches, cost estimates, BOMs and other reports for projects.
• Assist in load studies and investigate circuit overloads to determine corrective actions.
• Coordinate Easements with landowners and obtain relevant information for processing.
• Submit required reports and correspondence and assist in data gathering from the field.
• Digitize, copy, and scan drawings and maps; update design activity records.
