Job summary

Ingram Content Group is hiring a Senior Manager Operations to support our Distribution team in Fort Wayne, IN. This role manages daily DC operations and, with the DC Head, oversees overall operations to ensure customer service levels and commitments are achieved.

The position requires supervisory experience in a high-volume environment and expertise with a Warehouse Management System, with a focus on process improvements and budget control for the assigned areas.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 5 years experience in a high-volume distribution center supervising 25+ employees.
• 5 years experience with a Warehouse Management System.
• 3 years warehouse experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• 6 months work sequence involving walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, bending and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Manages staff selection & development, ensuring training and cross-training on systems and procedures.
• Oversees day-to-day activities for the assigned area of the DC.
• Communicates departmental goals to attain company objectives.
• Ensures customer service levels exceed requirements and standards.
• Maintains goals, objectives and job descriptions to motivate staff and align with company goals.
• Reviews performance based on goals and measures outcomes for management.
