Irby Utilities is seeking an experienced distribution operations leader to take ownership of a large, 300,000-square-foot distribution facility serving the electric utility industry in Allentown, PA. You will shape safety culture, drive efficiency, coaching leaders, and collaborate with district leadership, sales, and customers to keep the operation moving forward.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a large warehouse or distribution center.
• Track record of improving safety, service, productivity, or inventory.
• Experience leading through supervisors or managers.
• Strong financial and operational judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall performance of a large, complex distribution operation.
• Prioritize best-in-class logistical processes and cross-branch collaboration.
• Develop leaders and frontline teams through coaching and accountability.
• Improve safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, service levels.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, transportation, facilities, and equipment.
• Manage operating expenses, working capital, and performance with district leadership.
• Establish clear processes and identify better ways to work.
• Partner with sales and customers to resolve service issues and support growth.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
