Job summary

GAI Consultants Inc. is seeking a Distribution Line Engineer 3 in Arizona. You will design overhead and underground distribution lines, prepare construction packages, and lead multidisciplinary teams on utility projects.

Responsibilities include field visits, routing studies, and coordination with civil, electrical, and environmental staff to deliver projects on time and within budget. PE license is required or reciprocity; 8+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or reciprocity in multiple states.
• Experience designing distribution lines and leadership of multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and permit overhead and underground distribution lines following standards and NESC.
• Develop construction work packages with drawings, BOMs, and cost estimates.
• Conduct field visits and use data to create drawings and routing studies.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex energy projects on schedule.
