Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company seeks a Distribution Center Planner to develop, update, generate, and execute the stock distribution requirement plan for the network, supporting local market supply chain and customer service. This role reports to the Inventory Planning & Capacity Manager to reflect distribution constraints in Master Capacity Planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Some work in non-climate-controlled facility.
• Sitting and walking for extended periods.
• Occasionally lifting up to 20lbs.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains Valid Achievable Distribution Requirement plans through reviewing SKU level MPS plans and capacity considerations.
• Manages shelf-life and quality constraint requirements while balancing and moving stock in the network.
• Liaises with Demand Management, Logistics, Customer Service and Supply Planning.
• Reviews the network to optimize distribution cost while maintaining service level and high product availability.
• Monitor inventory against stock targets and service levels during seasonal trends.
