Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company seeks a Distribution Center Planner to develop, update, generate, and execute the stock distribution requirement plan for the network and support local market supply chain and customer service. The role reports to Inventory Planning & Capacity Manager and represents distribution constraints for Master Capacity Planning.

The position supports Rheem North America and is based in San Antonio, TX, Fort Smith, AR, Lewisville, TX, Pine Brook, NJ, or Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Creates and Maintains Valid Achievable Distribution Requirement plans through reviewing SKU level MPS plans and capacity considerations from source of supply.
• Manages shelf-life and quality constraint requirement while balancing and moving stock in the network.
• Constant liaison with Demand Management, Logistics, Customer Service and Supply planning.
• Reviews the network to optimize distribution cost while maintaining service levels and inventory targets.
• Monitor inventory against stock targets, pre-build plans, and service levels during seasonal trends.
