Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company seeks a Distribution Center Planner to develop and execute stock distribution plans across the network, supporting local market supply chain and customer service, with a direct link to the Inventory Planning & Capacity Manager.

This role supports Rheem North America, based in San Antonio, TX, Fort Smith, AR, Lewisville, TX, Pine Brook, NJ, or Atlanta, GA, and follows a hybrid work arrangement with in-office Mondays through Thursdays and remote Fridays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Some work in non-climate-controlled facility.
• Sitting and walking for extended periods.
• Occasionally lifting up to 20lbs.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains Valid Achievable Distribution Requirement plans through reviewing SKU level MPS plans and capacity considerations from source of supply.
• Manages shelf-life and quality constraint requirement while balancing and moving stock in the network.
• Liaises with Demand Management, Logistics, Customer Service and Supply planning.
• Reviews the network to optimize distribution cost while maintaining service level, replenishment objectives and high product availability.
• Monitor inventory against stock targets and service levels; take swift actions during seasonal trends.
• Defines near-term distribution and warehousing requirements.
• Facilitate reduction of excess inventory and out-of-stocks; manage near-term issues.
• Provide view of warehouse capacity constraints, risks of violation, and opportunities to lift constraints.
• Maintain key master data elements and planning data to ensure streamlined planning.
• Identify issues in network activity and upcoming risks in S&OE horizon.
• Inform on transportation disruptions and options to ensure timely goods.
• Drive actionable plans for excess inventory, slow-movers, returns, and dysfunctional stock.
• Identify root causes of fill rate issues and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain item segmentation, target inventory levels and quality of inventory.
• Manage Finished Goods Inventory through lifecycle management.
• Track and report KPIs with Supply and Inventory Analysis Partner.
• Develop inventory targets and safety stock; publish reports and analyze KPIs.
