Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Distribution Manager in Atlanta, GA to lead end-to-end distribution center operations, including inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound shipping. You will coach a large team, drive on-time delivery, and manage costs while upholding safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years in distribution/warehouse operations with hands-on leadership, Lean/Six Sigma exposure, and ERP/WMS experience; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; experience considered in lieu.
• Minimum 5 years in distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing operations.
• Minimum 5 years of direct people leadership experience.
• Experience leading large teams (50+).
• Experience as Manager/lead of a DC/warehouse/manufacturing plant preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification.
• ERP experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse management and ERP systems.
• Experience with inventory control and logistics operations.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Manage operating budgets incl. labor, equipment, facility costs.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Thrives in fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset with Lean/Six Sigma exposure.
• Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily distribution center operations, including inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound shipping.
• Manage, coach, and develop a workforce including supervisors and frontline teams.
• Drive performance against metrics such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, productivity, and cost.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through controls and cycle counting.
• Optimize labor planning, staffing, and workflow to meet demand and improve efficiency.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA/compliance with standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost.
• Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, transportation, and customer service teams.
• Manage operating budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
