FirstEnergy is seeking an Engineer to provide technical leadership for Distribution assets, focusing on substation breakers, line breakers, reclosers, and related equipment. You will evaluate asset health, performance, and risk, and support long-term reliability objectives across the asset fleet.

The role involves developing asset strategies, supporting investment planning, and coordinating with engineering, operations, maintenance, and planning teams.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in electrical or mechanical engineering required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of transmission and distribution systems including substation, line, protection, and OT.

Responsabilidades

• Assess fleet health, performance, failure trends, replacement needs, and asset management plans for substation and line assets.
• Analyze complex technical data and develop business requirements and practical technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain spare strategies, replacement recommendations, and portfolio planning support.
