Archer, partnering with Barclays Services LLC, seeks a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer in Whippany, NJ to design and build low-latency Java microservices using Spring Boot, containerization, and cloud deployment.

You will implement rule-based decisioning engines, work with Apache Kafka for real-time data, and ensure observability, security, and cost efficiency through modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Design and implement RESTful microservices with Java/Spring Boot for low latency
• Create scalable, observable services with SLOs
• Develop rule-based decisioning engines for dynamic decisions
