Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Lead technical processes and designs emphasizing reliability and scalability
• Collaborate with Infrastructure to deploy optimal hosting environments
• Define scalability and performance criteria for applications
• Serve as technical lead for RESTful and event-driven services
• Architect and implement services with Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Kafka
• Design and deploy containerized apps with OpenShift
• Manage builds and deployments with Maven/Jenkins/Bitbucket
• Ensure performance, privacy and security requirements are met
• Mitigate risk by following controls and monitoring
• Mentor engineers across geographies
• Drive agile practices and code reviews
• Partner with QA, DevOps, and Product Management
• Estimate costs for modules and projects
• Research and evaluate new technologies for solutions
• Construct end-to-end software architecture
