Job summary

Esri in Redlands, CA, is seeking a Software Engineer to advance ArcGIS Enterprise with a cross-functional team. You will build scalable distributed software for on-premises and cloud deployments, delivering high-quality features and geospatial workflows.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Experience in C++, Python, Agile Software Development, Esri ArcObjects, ArcGIS Enterprise, RDBMS, Data Localization, and ArcGIS.

Responsibilities

• Help build the next generation of ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise with state-of-the-art mapping and analytics capabilities.
• Build scalable distributed software for on-premises and cloud to make maps and analyses accessible anywhere.
• Provide a strong technical voice in product development and deliver a high-quality distributed systems platform.
• Work with a cross-functional global team of engineers, designers, and managers.
• Enhance ArcGIS Enterprise from feature inception to delivery using bleeding edge technology.
• Support web services components following industry-standard patterns and deployment models.
• Build server-side Java components and web services supporting geospatial workflows.
• Prototype and deliver complete software features that scale and are fault tolerant.
• Design and build software features and databases to meet customer requirements.
• Identify, analyze, and fix bugs and performance problems.
• Collaborate with teams to translate requirements into software.
