Job summary

Esri is seeking a Senior System Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize mission-critical ArcGIS deployments across secure environments in the Defense and Intelligence sectors.

You will lead enterprise-scale geospatial systems, guide deployment strategies, and ensure scalability, performance, and resilience while collaborating with customers and partners to meet mission requirements. This role includes relocation assistance to Redlands, CA.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience in a similar position
• Experience designing, implementing and/or administering enterprise ArcGIS or other IT systems
• Broad system administration experience on Windows and/or Linux
• Working knowledge of scripting languages (Python/PowerShell/JavaScript/C#)
• Familiarity with networks (DNS, HTTPS, firewalls, load-balancing)
• Experience with at least one RDBMS (SQL Server/Oracle/PostgreSQL)
• US citizenship with active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, GIS or STEM

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure ArcGIS across varied environments to meet SLAs
• Plan/migrate ArcGIS deployments between architectures
• Troubleshoot advanced ArcGIS deployments (storage, networking, security)
• Design and certify GIS workflows for ArcGIS platform
• Collaborate with customers/partners to align objectives with Esri technology
