Job summary

Florida Department of Health seeks a Distributed Computer Systems Analyst II- SES to supervise the NCF-IT staff and coordinate server operations across multiple CHDs. The role includes overseeing staff performance, training, and implementing DOH standards for AD/GPO, storage, and network services.

The position requires occasional travel to consortium CHDs, effective communication of technical information, and a commitment to HIPAA/PHI/PII data protection. A valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to lift 20 pounds.
• Experience in a technical or related field is required.
• Preferred: Supervisory experience and industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+.

Responsibilities

• Assist Data Center Director with LAN/WAN support and server administration.
• Supervise 4 technicians; plan, review performance, and enforce SOPs.
• Maintain and manage NCF IT knowledgebase and SOPs.
