Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. is seeking a Dirt Superintendent to lead on-site dirt work and ensure project milestones are met on complex heavy civil jobs in Arkansas.

You will supervise excavation, grading, scheduling, and safety compliance, while coordinating with PMs, subcontractors, and vendors to drive successful outcomes. This role demands 7+ years in construction/heavy civil, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction/heavy civil, including superintendent or foreman roles.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience supervising dirt work and coordinating with PMs/subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all dirt work activities, including excavation, grading, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and analyze project performance, including cost, schedule, and quality
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Provide leadership and mentorship to site teams
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in site management practices
• Other duties as assigned
