Job summary

The Staff Pad, in Mabank, TX, is seeking an experienced Dirt Superintendent to lead daily jobsite operations on excavation and pipeline projects. You will oversee schedule, production, manpower, equipment, quality, and safety to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with zero incidents.

Responsibilities include developing look-ahead plans, coordinating with general contractors and inspectors, and mentoring foremen and crews. Extensive field leadership and print-reading skills are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of heavy civil field experience as a Superintendent, Foreman or Project Manager.
• Ability to read and work from prints, plan and profile drawings, and specifications.
• Experience developing two- to three-week look-ahead plans and coordinating crews.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day jobsite operations, including manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and scheduling.
• Serve as primary daily contact for the general contractor, owner, inspectors, and utility reps.
• Develop look-ahead plans, sequence work, and adjust for weather and conflicts.
• Direct foremen, operators, and laborers to meet production targets.
• Track daily production and unit costs using Raken and Excel.
• Coordinate material deliveries, trucking, and site safety.
