Altasciences seeks a Director of Veterinary Services to lead the animal health care program at the site, oversee GLP data collection, and supervise surgical and medical procedures. You will ensure compliance with USDA, AAALAC, and AWA standards, and participate in risk assessments and external collaborations.

The role requires veterinary leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting study directors and investigators.

Qualificações

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (D.V.M.) from an accredited university or AVMA ECFVG certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Primary resource for the animal research programs at the site.
• Maintain veterinary care program compliant with USDA, AAALAC, AWA and other agencies.
• Advise sponsors on humane experimental design and animal welfare; advise Study Coordinators and IACUC.
