Nextpower Inc in California is seeking a Senior Director of Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineering to lead end-to-end testing across products and integrated solutions, translating requirements into test plans and evidence-based release decisions.

You will build a global V&V organization, advance automation, lab capabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, reliability, and customer readiness.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 15+ years in verification, validation, test, or reliability.
• 7+ years leading multidisciplinary engineering or test teams; experience with managers or cross-functional programs.
• Proven success leading end-to-end V&V for hardware and software products and system-level integration.
• Strong command of requirements-based testing, risk analysis, DOE, reliability and qualification methods.
• Experience with lab, test-yard, field, or customer-pilot programs and data-quality judgment.
• Ability to communicate test evidence and risk to executives and customers.

Responsabilidades

• Set end-to-end V&V strategy with risk-based approach and lifecycle gates.
• Direct component, subsystem, and product testing for multiple performance attributes.
• Lead system integration testing for multi-asset solutions and third-party interfaces.
• Build scalable V&V organization, labs, and automation capabilities.
• Guide release decisions and drive continuous learning from field and pilot results.
• Partner across functions to resolve cross-functional risks and ensure readiness.
