Senior Director, Total Rewards & HR Operations

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Sr Director of Total Rewards & HR Operations will oversee all aspects of Certinia’s Total Rewards, HRIS, and Global HR Operations functions. This role is crucial in evolving the employee experience, setting our global Total Rewards strategy, and leading ongoing system transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will analyze existing practices, challenge the status quo, and design scalable, employee-friendly global Total Rewards & support programs aligned with company objectives. With attention to detail and a passion for innovation, this leader will champion critical functional and company-wide goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
  1. Set global priorities and strategies to attract, motivate, and retain key talent, as part of the HR Leadership Team.
  2. Collaborate with global HR and organizational leaders to foster an engaging and inspiring culture aligned with company values.
  3. Focus on employee experience, delivering high-quality customer service while aligning with business objectives and budget.
  4. Utilize AI and other technologies to improve access to information and tools for employees and managers, maintaining a human-centered approach.
  5. Create a cohesive approach to HR operations and total rewards, ensuring clarity and ease of administration.
  6. Lead a team managing compensation, benefits, HRIS, and HR operations.
  7. Develop and implement a scalable global Total Rewards strategy and roadmap.
  8. Manage global compensation programs, including salary structures, bonus plans, executive pay, equity, and compliance.
  9. Prepare Board materials for Compensation Committee and Board Meetings.
  10. Develop strategic benefit recommendations, ensuring cost-effectiveness, competitiveness, and legal compliance.
  11. Oversee third-party benefit vendors, ensuring compliant and excellent service delivery.
  12. Partner with HR and operations teams to improve HRIS solutions and drive data analytics initiatives.
  13. Guide global HR operations, focusing on operational excellence and employee experience.
  14. Manage global immigration strategies and daily operations.
  15. Make culturally sensitive decisions and proactively resolve issues.
  16. Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders across HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and C-suite.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
  1. 10+ years of global HR leadership experience, including operations, benefits, compensation, and HRIS.
  2. Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging trends, and benchmarking.
  3. Proven project management skills with success in complex, cross-functional projects.
  4. Proficiency with HR management software and analytics tools.
  5. Strong people management skills, with a focus on development and engagement.
  6. Ability to lead change, drive transformation, and adapt to evolving business needs.
  7. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex ideas clearly.
  8. Experience in the tech industry or private equity-backed organizations is preferred.
