Job summary

Harvey, based in San Francisco, seeks a Head of Technical Accounting and Reporting to own GAAP/IFRS accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

You'll partner with Product, Sales, Legal, Partnerships, Revenue and Corporate teams to ensure accurate accounting for new products, pricing, and arrangements, and drive IPO readiness and SOX compliance as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA required.
• 15+ years progressive accounting experience in SaaS or tech.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP; IFRS knowledge a plus.
• Experience with IPO readiness and SOX controls.
• Strong liaison with Product, Sales, Legal, and Revenue teams.

Responsibilities

• Own technical accounting memos and research under GAAP/IFRS.
• Lead revenue recognition, leases, equity compensation discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new products.
• Prepare internal/external financial statements and disclosures.
• Support IPO readiness and audit inquiries.
