Job summary

BlackLine is seeking a Senior Director of Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting to own complex accounting and external reporting for the company. This leader will shape strategic initiatives, including adopting AI in reporting, advancing Customer Zero, and guiding the data warehouse reporting program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and active CPA.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience including public accounting.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP and SEC reporting with experience in SEC filings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical accounting expert on complex matters (ASC 606, business combinations, leases, etc.).
• Own external reporting deliverables including SEC filings and disclosures.
• Lead and monitor SOX controls and collaborate with auditors.
• Partner with leadership on accounting implications of transactions.
