Job summary

BlackLine seeks a Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting leader with 12+ years of accounting experience and a CPA to own external reporting, standards adoption, and internal controls. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior finance leaders and lead cross-functional initiatives across FP&A, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Active CPA certification required.
• Deep US GAAP/SEC reporting knowledge with ability to draft memos.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting memos on complex topics (ASC 606, business combinations, stock-based compensation, leases, debt/equity).
• Prepare and review external financial reporting including 10-K/10-Q/8-K and disclosures.
• Monitor new accounting standards and lead adoption initiatives.
• Support SOX compliance and maintain strong internal controls.
• Collaborate with Controller, CAO, CFO and cross-functional partners on accounting implications.
