Job summary

Pueblo School District 60 is seeking an Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning to lead and support principals, guide the PK-12 instructional program, and ensure alignment with state and federal requirements. This role reports to the Superintendent and works within Learning Services.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in curriculum design, leadership development, budget management, and strategic planning to improve student achievement district-wide.

Qualifications

• Colorado Principal License required within 60 days of hire.
• Master's Degree in Education or related field required.
• Minimum eight years as a principal and in central administration roles.
• Valid Colorado Driver License.
• Must pass fingerprint-based background check.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional leadership for PK-12 district.
• Differentiate guidance and supervision for principals.
• Oversee allocation and monitoring of instructional resources.
• Inform policies, standards, and district vision at district level.
• Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal requirements.
