Job summary

Orlando Magic is seeking an Assistant Director, Talent Development (L&D) to partner with senior leadership in building a comprehensive learning strategy that supports business objectives and talent priorities.

You will design and evaluate learning initiatives, manage the LMS, and drive organizational development across the enterprise. Hybrid work model with strong emphasis on leadership development and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in learning and development or related field.
• Experience administering LMS and learning technologies.
• Proven ability to conduct organizational needs assessments and identify performance gaps.
• Expertise in instructional design, facilitation, and curriculum development.
• Experience delivering learning programs in-person and virtual.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and continuous improvement of leadership development programs.
• Partner with internal experts and leaders to develop learning content and solutions.
• Influence business outcomes through learning strategy and development initiatives.
• Oversee LMS administration, catalog management, and learning paths.
• Develop dashboards and metrics to track participation and impact.
• Stay current on learning technologies and industry trends.
