Job summary

Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, part of Covenant Health, seeks a Director of Surgical Services to lead OR, anesthesia and endoscopy operations. Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Master's degree in Nursing Administration plus two years managerial experience.
• Current RN license required.
• Experience managing cost centers and operating budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing and medical staff issues; implement and revise personnel policies.
• Standardize care across OR, Endoscopy, and related perioperative areas.
• Co-manage ancillary support and volunteer services for perioperative areas.
• Participate in projects and quality improvement meetings with leadership.
• Maintain department policies, safety standards, and budgetary controls.
• Lead strategic planning with executive leadership and other directors.
