• Develop and execute supply chain, procurement, and strategic sourcing strategies.
• Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, supplier relationships, and performance management.
• Oversee purchasing, materials management, demand planning, production scheduling, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
• Drive cost savings, working capital improvements, and supply chain efficiency.
• Manage supply chain risks and sourcing strategies for critical materials.
• Lead, develop, and mentor supply chain teams.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Quality, and Engineering to improve business performance.
• Track KPIs covering supplier performance, forecasting accuracy, purchasing, and inventory.
• Support new product introductions and supplier qualification.
• Improve ERP/MRP systems, reporting, master data, and planning processes.

We are recruiting a Senior Director of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain strategy for a manufacturing organization. This senior leadership role oversees strategic sourcing, procurement, planning, inventory, logistics, and supplier performance, with a strong focus on cost reduction, operational efficiency, and team development.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute supply chain, procurement, and strategic sourcing strategies.
• Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, supplier relationships, and performance management.
• Oversee purchasing, materials management, demand planning, production scheduling, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing leadership experience.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end supply chain operations in manufacturing.
• Strong track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, cost reduction, and risk management.
• Experience leading large teams and managing significant material spend.
• Knowledge of demand planning, S&OP, RCCP, inventory management, and logistics.
• Strong financial, analytical, forecasting, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• CPIM, CPM, CSCM, or other relevant supply chain certifications.
• Experience with Power BI, MRP implementation, and supply chain analytics.

Commutable from: North Chicago, Waukegan, Gurnee, Libertyville, Lake Forest, Mundelein, Vernon Hills, Highland Park, and surrounding northern Illinois and southeastern Wisconsin areas.
