Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Senior Director - Supplier Relations to lead strategic relationships with key suppliers and work with sales teams to drive engagement, enablement, rebates, and negotiations. You will monitor performance and ensure compliance with Wesco standards while driving continuous improvement and resolving issues.

The role focuses on developing annual business plans for strategic suppliers, negotiating MSAs, cost reductions, and building vendor strategies to improve overall supply chain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 15 years of management experience in electrical distribution.
• 15 years of progressive management in organizational development.
• 10–15 years of experience building skills: negotiation, strategic planning, staff development.
• Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans for supplier relations and annual business plans.
• Drive supplier performance and cost optimization through vendor strategy.
• Negotiate terms, manage MSAs, and monitor vendor risk and compliance.
• Collaborate with Sales to create regional programs and reciprocal sales with large vendors.
