Job summary

Wesco, located in Glenview, IL, seeks a Senior Manager - Indirect Strategic Sourcing to build and lead its enterprise indirect procurement function, developing sourcing strategies and optimizing supplier performance to deliver measurable cost savings across indirect spend categories.

You will partner with business leaders to align sourcing priorities with enterprise objectives, establish scalable processes, and drive supplier governance within a growing indirect procurement organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Operations, or related discipline required; Masters Degree preferred
• 8 years of progressive experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or related leadership roles
• Experience leading indirect sourcing functions within a large-scale B2B organization
• Proven ability to negotiate complex supplier agreements, deliver measurable cost savings, and manage supplier governance and vendor performance
• Strong executive presence with demonstrated ability to influence senior business leaders and lead cross-functional initiatives
• Demonstrated people leadership experience managing teams, developing talent, and building or transforming procurement organizations
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing standards, compliance requirements, supplier governance, and vendor management
• Experience with enterprise procurement technologies, sourcing tools, contract management systems, or procure-to-pay platforms preferred
• Experience supporting procurement transformation initiatives, operating model design, or process improvement efforts preferred
• Experience managing large indirect spend portfolios across multiple categories preferred
• Ability to travel 0% - 25%

• Collaborate closely with the Operations Excellence Lead to create a seamless Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Invoice (P2I) operating model

Compensation Details: $134,561 - $185,021 Annually
This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
