Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp (Qcells USA) seeks a Sr. Director, Tech Strategy to lead the Tech Solutions and Product Management within the EPC Tech Center in Houston.

You will own technology and product strategy, portfolio priorities, and commercialization plans that translate field needs into validated initiatives. Partnering with Product R&D and EPC teams, you will define roadmaps, build business cases, guide deployment, and drive cross‑functional governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or another relevant technical discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in renewable energy, EPC, engineering, construction technology, product management, or technology strategy.
• Strong ability to translate field needs into technology priorities and actionable initiatives.
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional technology or product initiatives from opportunity to commercialization.
• Experience with financial analyses (NPV/IRR/ROI) and portfolio value assessment.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating across global teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of technology and product strategies within the Tech Strategy organization aligned with EPC objectives.
• Identify technology opportunities by engaging EPC Project Management, Construction, Operations, and other teams.
• Develop portfolio analyses, prioritization, and business cases for technology initiatives.
• Oversee commercialization and deployment planning for priority technologies.
• Partner with Product R&D to establish requirements, priorities, and deployment needs.
• Lead the Tech Center Product Management function including roadmaps and lifecycle management.
• Coordinate strategy and partnerships with Qcells and Hanwha organizations globally.
