Job summary

Adapture Renewables, Inc. in Oakland, CA seeks a Director of Development for the Eastern Region to drive utility-scale solar and storage projects from early-stage development through COD.

The role requires 8-10 years of project management experience, strong leadership, and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across markets including PJM, MISO, and ERCOT. We offer a competitive salary of $190,000–$220,000 plus 401(k), benefits, and a flexible work arrangement with travel to Bay Area

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of proven project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in utility-scale solar development and power industry.
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage development of utility-scale projects in Southern Company, PJM, MISO, and neighboring ISOs.
• Independently manage multiple projects from early-stage development through COD.
• Perform due diligence and risk assessment of projects and acquisitions
• Provide transparent, timely progress updates to management.
• Visit project sites and meet with landowners, officials, and off-take counterparties.
• Lead coordination with internal teams (finance, engineering, construction, legal).
• Develop investment rationales and manage investment documents.
