You will drive technical strategy across AWS, microservices, and AI tooling while mentoring engineers and collaborating with product managers. Required are a Bachelor's degree and 9+ years in software engineering with 7+ years in people leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 9 years of software engineering experience.
• At least 7 years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and grow multiple teams of product focused software engineers.
• Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers on your team.
• Work with product managers to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
• Continuously improve software engineering practices.
• Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across full-stack tools and technologies.
• Lead craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions.
• Stay on top of tech trends and experiment with new technologies; mentor others.
• Encourage innovation and inclusive teamwork, outside-the-box thinking, and diversity.
• Help deploy new and existing applications into AWS environments.
• Break monolithic apps into microservices and build new microservices.
