Job summary

Genentech's Kentucky Distribution Center in Louisville seeks a Sr. Director to lead all operational teams and act as the face of Genentech in the region. You will guide strategic planning, stability, and performance across the site.

You will drive cGMP compliance, OTIF targets, and business continuity while collaborating with Quality, SHE, Customer Operations, and Commercial stakeholders to optimize distribution.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in supply chain/distribution with leadership experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare distribution.
• 10–12+ years in leadership roles including cold-chain management.
• Deep knowledge of cGMP standards and pharmaceutical distribution regulations.
• Experience developing long-range operational strategies and business continuity plans.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic vision for commercial finished goods and site assets; align with global network.
• Direct all site operations: staffing, facilities, logistics, warehousing, inventory, and SHE.
• Represent Genentech in Louisville; lead community, government, and media engagement.
• Ensure cGMP, SOPs, Roche standards; meet OTIF delivery targets.
• Drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation; foster a culture of development.
• Collaborate with Customer Operations, Hillsboro, and Commercial teams to optimize delivery.
