Job summary

The role emphasizes risk communication, regulatory compliance, and mentorship to junior safety scientists within the pharmacovigilance organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in a Health Sciences (e.g., Pharmacy, Epidemiology, Nursing) with 4 years clinical/pharma or safety work experience for Bachelor’s, or Masters/PhD with 2 years experience.
• Knowledge of drug development processes, regulatory requirements and safety decision making.
• Familiarity with safety evaluation tools, standards and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard surveillance activities across product life cycles through safety data review from trials, literature, and databases.
• Collaborate with safety and clinical teams to analyze data for signal assessment and regulatory requests.
• Prepare summaries of safety data for PST, SRB, senior management and regulatory meetings.
