Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Pharmacovigilance professional to lead signal surveillance and safety assessments across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with safety, clinical, and regulatory teams to develop strategies and prepare communications for senior management and regulators.

Responsibilities include drafting safety summaries, maintaining risk management plans, and presenting findings to cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Degree in a Health Sciences field (e.g., Pharmacy, Epidemiology, Nursing).
• Experience with pharmacovigilance activities and safety data assessment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety signal surveillance across product lifecycle using trial data, safety databases, and literature.
• Collaborate with safety and clinical teams to develop signal assessment strategies and respond to regulatory requests.
• Prepare safety summaries for Clinical Study Reports, safety sections of CSRs, and risk management plans.
